Episode 45 - You Are Not ”Weak” If You Deal With Depression
Monday Mar 01, 2021
Monday Mar 01, 2021
The title of this episode says it all! I believe there is a perception the world has of people who deal with having a mental illness. For me, that's a problem! Please know you are not weak for having a mental illness, going to therapy, seeing a psychiatrist, etc. You are learning how to better manage and take care of your mental health one day at a time. That doesn't make you weak. That makes you a 'Mental Health Warrior', someone choosing to continue to fight their own mental battles despite their mental obstacles. That's not weak, that's inspiring. Keep pushing forward. Keep breaking those mental barriers. You got this. Episode 44 - How To Be Happy Again (Acoustic Guitar)
Monday Feb 22, 2021
Monday Feb 22, 2021
"I can be happy too! Happiness is not a destination. It's a moment in time, a mindset, and something we always strive to hold onto." These are words I share at the end of this episode, and I stand firm by them. I want you to know that happiness in life is possible, and the only thing it takes is hard work. That sounds oversimplified, but it's not. Happiness in life does not come by accident, it happens on purpose. I'm rooting for you. Depression and anxiety DOES NOT have to hold you back from living your best life right now. Episode 42 - It’s hard to stay strong for real....
Tuesday Dec 15, 2020
Tuesday Dec 15, 2020
It was painful for me to shoot this episode. It physically hurt.
Right now I am feeling depressed. I haven't been able to record an episode in a longer period of time than I would like because of it. It's hard to formulate concepts, and thoughts, or even share how I'm feeling because I'd just rather not talk and bottle things up.
Listen, to me, this sounds backward, but please let me know if it's not.
*Is it weird for me to feel depressed because I want to help more people?"* Isn't that lame or not that big of a deal? Am I just overthinking? I don't know...
I am going to keep pushing forward one moment at a time. I know I will get through this. I won't quit and I will keep going. "It's better to crawl forward than it is to lay down." - Immanuel

Episode 41 - People Are Naturally Scared To Be Themselves
Monday Dec 07, 2020
Monday Dec 07, 2020
In short, be yourself. No one else can tell you how you "have" to live your life, or who you "have" to be. This is your life, not theirs. In this episode, I open up about my belief in the power of walking your own path to better understand yourself. When you start to choose who you want to be in this life, your self-esteem begins to grow. You start to become more confident in who you are and who you want to be. Going into 2021, my hope is you start truly living your life. Not living in fear of how other people want you to live your life, but by living in excitement about the path you are choosing. I'm rooting for you.
